How to: Write a Birchbox Review

One of the things I like adore about Birchbox is that you get points for writing reviews on products from your box each month. For each review, you will review 10 points. Once you have earned 100 points, you earn $10.00 to spend in the Birchbox store. Each month you will usually receive 5 samples in your box, which means you will earn 50 points (or $5, technically) to spend after you write your reviews. So, how do you write a review? I've made a very easy picture tutorial to help. It's very simple, but maybe a little confusing if you are writing your very first review.

Start here by logging in.

 Then, hover your mouse over the Box tab and click on Women's Box:

From there, you will see a screen showing all of your great products from this month's box. Scroll down to the bottom of that page to see all of your individual products listed. These may look different from your sample, because these are images of the full size products that you can purchase.

Click on the image or name of the product you want to review. Then, click Write a Review. You will only be able to receive points for products that you receive in your Birchbox, not other products that you may already own. 

The Review will pop-up and look like this:

Fill in each part of your review and write a short review (it only has to be 50 words). Don't forget to hit the Submit button at the bottom. 

Congratulations! You've just written your first review! And to reward you, Birchbox will give you 10 points. Remember, these add up. To check out your points, just click on the Points History tab. 

It's that easy. You have a one month window starting on the 10th of each month to write your reviews, and your points will expire 365 days after you receive them. You can also earn points by referring friends, my link is here and I would love if you clicked it ;) You receive 50 points for each referral. You will also earn 1 point per dollar you spend in the Birchbox store. It's really easy to rack up points to spend.
